lavender-the-king-lavinnova-lavandula-hyb
Lavender - The King Lavinnova® Lavandula hyb.

Lavender The King is the larger-growing half of a pair in the Lavinnova range, sold alongside The Princess, so the names are a size cue rather than a colour one. It makes an upright evergreen woody bush with the narrow grey-green foliage of the group and a long flowering run through the warmer months.

Because it holds height, it is the more useful of the two for a low informal hedge, a repeated rhythm along a fence line, or a filler in a dry mixed border where you want something taller than a groundcover but well under window height.

We list it in 140mm, 175mm and 200mm from two farms, so you can order small quantities for infill or one consistent size for a whole run. Buy a hedge from a single pot size where you can, since mixed batches establish at different rates and the line never quite evens up.

Full sun and drainage are not negotiable. Shear after flowering, into green growth only.

Choosing a size

This plant is available in 3 sizes, from 140mm up to 200mm, priced from $33.90 to $59.90 per plant. The size shown is the pot the plant arrives in, which is the rootball, not the height of the plant. These are younger plants, priced for planting in quantity, and they establish quickly once in the ground. Not sure which to choose?
