At Plant Drop, we are committed to delivering healthy, high-quality plants to your doorstep with care and efficiency. This Shipping Policy outlines our delivery methods, estimated timeframes, fees, and important conditions to ensure clarity and transparency.
As we supply living plants, delivery conditions and timelines may vary depending on location, order size, weather, and carrier availability.
2. Delivery Areas
We offer delivery Australia-wide. Orders are fulfilled using a combination of express postal services for smaller plants and specialised truck or courier delivery for larger or bulk orders.
Our distribution network operates across QLD, NSW, VIC, ACT, and SA to help optimise delivery efficiency. Availability of delivery services may vary depending on destination and order requirements.
3. Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery timeframes commence from the date of dispatch, not the date of order.
Standard delivery is generally estimated between 1 to 5 business days after dispatch.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, public holidays, regional access, carrier delays, biosecurity requirements, or peak demand periods.
4. Delivery Fees
Delivery fees start from $99 Australia-wide.
Final delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, delivery method, and destination.
Some regional, remote, oversized, or difficult-to-access locations may incur higher delivery fees. All delivery fees are confirmed before order completion.
Plant Drop reserves the right to update delivery pricing at any time.
5. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email containing tracking details or delivery information where available.
Processing times may be extended during peak periods or where additional handling is required due to plant size or order volume.
6. Delivery Instructions and Safe Drop Authority
Customers may include specific delivery instructions in the notes section during checkout.
If no one is available to receive the delivery, our couriers are authorised to leave the order in a safe location at the delivery address unless otherwise specified.
Once delivery is completed to the nominated address, Plant Drop is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after delivery.
7. Delays and Delivery Issues
While we take reasonable steps to meet estimated delivery timeframes, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
Where significant delays are identified, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer. Plant Drop does not offer delivery guarantees, compensation, or credits for delayed deliveries unless required by law.
Delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer may result in additional fees or failed delivery, which are the responsibility of the customer.
8. Important Delivery Conditions
Delivery is not available to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers due to the nature of our products.
Plant Drop operates as an online-only business and does not offer in-person pickups.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure accurate and complete delivery information is provided at checkout.
Orders delivered to an incorrect address due to customer error are not eligible for refund or replacement.
9. Risk and Ownership
Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the order has been delivered to the nominated delivery address.
Ownership of goods transfers to the customer once full payment has been received and delivery has been completed.
