Fruit Salad Plant - Monstera deliciosa variegata Thai Constellation
This is not the albo. Thai Constellation is a laboratory raised cultivar with creamy yellow variegation splashed and speckled right across the leaf, and because it is stable it does not revert or throw plain green shoots the way sectored albo plants do. It also will not give you those dramatic half white leaves; the pattern here is finer and more evenly scattered.
Less chlorophyll means slower growth and less tolerance for mistakes. Bright indirect light keeps the cream areas clean, while direct sun burns them first and leaves crisp brown patches that never recover. Let the mix dry back between waterings, because a pale plant sitting wet will rot at the base.
Give it a moss pole or totem once the stem thickens. Supported plants push out larger leaves with proper fenestration; unsupported ones stay small and stubbornly entire. Wipe the foliage to keep the variegation bright and watch for mites in dry indoor air. The sap is an irritant, so keep cuttings away from pets and bare skin.
