Echeveria Emerald Ripple
Ruffle-edged echeverias are grown for the leaf margin rather than the flower, and Emerald Ripple is a green one: a flattish rosette whose leaves crimp and wave along the edges instead of sitting smooth. The frilling shows best on plants kept bright and lean. Give it heavy shade or steady fertiliser and you get a larger, flatter, plainer green rosette with much of the ripple lost.
Those crimped margins are where trouble collects. Water, potting mix and old leaf litter lodge in the folds and stay wet there, so water at the base, allow air movement around the plant, and pick fallen leaves out of the crown rather than leaving them to break down.
The 140mm size suits mixed succulent bowls and shelf collections. The 170mm carries a wider, more developed rosette for anyone wanting a single feature plant in a bowl or trough.

This plant is available in 2 sizes, from 140mm up to 170mm, priced from $16.95 to $24.95 per plant. The size shown is the pot the plant arrives in, which is the rootball, not the height of the plant.
